Bladder Malignancy

Fig. B: Bladder Staging is designated with the TNM nomenclature. Pictoral diagram of the T classification.

Fig. B: T1 or 2 disease. CT image of small polypoid TCC along right lateral wall. Can't see easily in the early phase, need delayed contrast opacification of the bladder.

Fig : Coronals can be helpful. More plaqulike appearance.

Fig : Calcifications are occasionally associated.

Fig : Concentric involvement of the bladder

Fig. B: Multicentric bladder cancer seen on two axial CT images. Notice the left lateral soft tissue lesion demonstrates a calcified cap.

Fig. B: Multicentric disease need to evaluate entire collecting system. Distal ureter TCC.

Stage T2b invasion into the muscularis propria. Left obturator lymph node makes it N2 disease (as greater than 1 LN is involved)

Fig : T3b disease at least. MR confirms?

Fig, B: ? sequence MRI demonstrating bladder cancer which has not progressed beyond the wall.

Fig. B: Malignant bladder cancer with lymph node? where is the LN?

Fig B: Temporal CT images. A. Right bladder diverticulum is present. B. ? yrs/time later, TCC has arisen from the bladder diverticulum.

Fig B: Combidex. Pre and post.
